MCG began in 1992 as a Solomon Software (later to become Microsoft Dynamics SL) reseller by its owner and founder Bill McGinnis. MCG expanded its ERP consulting to include Sage HRMS and Sage MAS 100/200. By 2006 MCG was recognized as one of the top Sage HRMS resellers in the nation when it was awarded the Sage Presidents List award.
MCG expanded into the IT consulting field in 1997 to provide the design, maintenance and support required by systems running mission critical applications. Our consultants were certified in Citrix and thin client computing, MS SQL, Cisco, IBM, and HP.
With 26 professional staff assisting clients throughout the US, MCG has assisted over 300 businesses with the successful selection and implementation of ERP, HRIS, and Payroll software, and the design and maintenance of their networks.
Late in 2010, Bill McGinnis decided to focus on other business interests. The IT consulting was transferred to employees in 2011 and continues to operate under MCG Business Solutions.
In 2012 MCG completed the transfer of its ERP and HRMS consulting clients to three of the premier consulting firms in the US.
Microsoft Dynamics SL clients are now managed by Stanley Stuart Yoffee & Hendrix.
Sage MAS 100/200 clients are now managed by SWK.
Sage HRMS clients are now managed by Delphia Consulting, and our CPA consulting staff also moved to Delphia Consulting..
